About Us Blue Tango Productions is made up of a team of creative professionals headed up by Marla Friedler, Executive Producer/ Creative Director. Marla's award-winning productions include television and radio commercials for Microsoft, AAA, Pacific Bell, FHP, Columbia Television, Kahlua, Pacific Theatres and CBS, to name a few. She has worked with some of the largest and most prestigious advertising agencies in the world, including Chiat/Day and Ogilvy & Mather, and has also produced multiple independent feature films, television shows, training videos and music CDs. Marla's clients tell her that her thorough knowledge of the production process, from project inception through final edit, brings them back time and again. She knows how to develop a script and she will recommend the special touches that make an impact - from motion graphics to music production. She knows how to budget for projects of all types - and how to implement the budget, from crew and equipment, to all phases of post-production, through delivery of the finished product. Her clients love her ability to put every penny up on the screen - and make it count! She brings with her not only experience and knowledge, but also a unique sense of confidence and style, combined with a dedicated love and passion for all her projects. Besides being the Executive Producer/Creative Director at Blue Tango Productions, Marla is a Professor in the Chapman University School of Film and Television, where she teaches Producing Commercials and Visual Storytelling. She is also on the Executive Board of Directors of the Orange County Advertising Federation.
